libLCS-0.0.21 has been released. This is a bug-fix release with no major changes from the 0.0.2 version. You can download it either by going through the download page, or directly from the project page. Find the changelog here.

The website and documentation for older versions can be found from the archives page here.

The next release of libLCS will be with version number 0.0.3 and will facilitate sequential circuit elements, clock, and delays. It's development has reached the feature-freeze state and is currently being tested. I am also working to make the documentation upto date. libLCS-0.0.3 will be released as soon as the tests and documentation reach a satisfactory level. If things go well, this should happen well before the end of October 2006 :-).

libLCS is a Logic Circuit Simulation library developed in 100% C++. It currently supports simulation of circuits with combinational logic. In the near future, it will also support sequential logic elements like clocks and FlipFlops. The ultimate aim of LCS is to become a thorough hardware description library matching the functionality of the Verilog hardware description language, while keeping the usage (and syntax) as intuitive as possible.

libLCS is still in very early stages of development and might contain a lot of bugs. Moreover, the API can get redone a lot of times before a beta version is released. However, you are encouraged to use it and report bugs and issues, if any, and help in making LCS popular ;-) and reliable. Use the above links to download/install/start using the library. For bug reporting and feature/support requests, use the appropriate links provided on the libLCS project page on For problems with using the library, post your questions on the open forum, link to which is again available on the project page.

Like the library itself, this website is also under constant development. Hence, bear with any incovenience or lack of information. Do feel free to write in your comments to my id sivachandra_br. If you find the library usefull/worthwhile, then do let me know as to how it is being usefull to you. Apart from motivating me to constantly improve the library, you will get to see your comment on a comments page on this web-site, coming up very soon :-).
